Credit Card App & Chrome Extension

Wireframing

Prototyping

Duration: 6 months
Role: UX/UI Designer, UX Researcher
Tools: Figma
Product: Mobile App and Chrome Extension

Context

Wallet Max's mobile app needed more UX research and a redesign. They also had a need for a Chrome extension version of their mobile app much like Honey's Chrome extension. The main goal of Wallet Max's app is to provide their users a way to keep track of their credit cards and rewards and use their AI to help users decide which card to use for their unique purchase (based on most cash back, points, etc.)

Screener Interview Questions

These are some questions included in our early research phase to understand current user habits.

What is your favorite finance app?

What do you feel is missing from your favorite finance app?

How do you keep track of your credit cards?

After discussing with teammates about User Needs, we compiled them into features to be built and designed. As an example here, I created a wireframe for two different options to demonstrate a sort and filter function so that users are able to organize their offers based on their interests.

After multiple iterations for wireframes, I began creating an interactive prototype in Figma of a common user journey where the user is onboarded onto the app and uses it to help select the best credit card for their purchase.

To make these functions accessible on desktop, I created a Chrome Extension version of the mobile app.

More details are underway but reach out for more information on this project!
